Rosewood Hotels and Resorts will be showcasing its state-of-the-art conference and banqueting facilities at the luxury Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh at this month's AIBTM.

The Al Faisaliah Hotel is part of the landmark, multi-use Al Faisaliah Center in Saudi capital. It is ideally situated between King Fahad Road and Olaya Street, at the heart of Riyadh's most prestigious commercial and residential area.

The Al Faisaliah Conference and Banquet Center is a major feature of the hotel which offers a "perfect combination of exceptional management and prestigious location".

Covering an area of almost 50,000 sq ft, the conference centre is the largest column-free, public space in the Kingdom with a capacity for 4,000 delegates in conference style seating and 3,300 for banquets.

"The facilities have been designed to accommodate any event large or small, from exhibitions to multi-media conferences, and elaborate wedding ceremonies," said a hotel spokesman.

"Flexible dividers mean the venue can be subdivided into 16 different configurations, enabling the organiser to host large meetings with adjacent break-out meeting rooms."

The centre offers state-of-the-art sound and projection equipment, the latest simultaneous interpretation system and sophisticated computer imaging and international link-up through satellite and microwave communication.

"Adjacent to the main banquet hall is a magnificent ballroom, with marble finishes, custom woven carpets and spectacular chandeliers. It is truly the most opulent in the Kingdom," said the spokesman.

"The ballroom offers discerning customers a venue of unprecedented sophistication capable of hosting the most prestigious gala dinners, or as equally ideal as a grand reception area to the banquet hall."

The design of the Al Faisaliah venue means that it has the capacity and versatility to host both intimate and personal gatherings. It provides thee bridal suites and a separate royal entrance.

The hotel provides spacious, designer-decorated rooms, world-class restaurants and professionally operated business and leisure facilities.

It has also introduced a 24-hour butler service on all floors - a service available for the first time in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia, allowing guests to direct requests such as laundry, restaurant bookings, courier services, packing and unpacking of luggage or any other service to one individual who remains responsible for the guests' comfort.
