Hilton Hotels Corporation is set to open the Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa this month sporting a new look following its $35 million facelift.
The 236 room hotel is the first spa resort of its kind in Luxor, the world’s largest open air museum. “Luxor contains nearly one third of the world’s antiquities reflecting the greatness of ancient Egypt’s 7,000 year old civilisation with natural grandeur and magnificence. Not only is Luxor an unforgettable place to see, but our resort offers an unforgettable experience to luxuriate in. It is truly very contemporary,” said Mahmoud Mokhtar, country manager operations, Hilton Hotels, Egypt.
The newly renovated Hilton Worldwide Resort offers guests a wide scenic view of the river Nile with spacious landscaping. The lobby area features a separate check-in area for groups, and a lounge in addition to a variety of dining options which include the Sunset Lounge and Terrace overlooking the River Nile which serves drinks and snacks, as well as Rosetta, the resort’s main dining venue with indoor and outdoor seating. The resort also offers a dining experience on a Felucca, a traditional sailing boat with catered meals upon request.
The spa has its own entrance separate to the main resort, with its own spa suites and treatment rooms, in addition to a dedicated lounge and sun deck relaxation area, as well as an infinity relaxation pool.
“As the newest addition to the collection of Hilton Worldwide Resorts around the world, the Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa offers an array of upscale amenities and personalised services in a truly magnificent setting,” said Azza Serry, senior director of business development, Hilton Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan & Africa. “This exciting new resort will reinforce the Hilton philosophy that travel should be relaxing, pampering and invigorating.”
