As sponsors of the event, Jumeirah Culu Culu Polo Resort also orchestrated a friendly celebrity match between the world’s number one polo player Adolfo Cambiaso and David Nalbandian, the world’s number seven tennis player.
The game of snow polo is played on horseback with three players per team. Horses are shod with specially cleated horseshoes for traction.
Guests of the world class luxury resort will have access to eight polo fields, incorporating two championship polo fields and a spa and fitness centre. Jumeirah will manage the five star hotel.
