THE 2,500 sq m Mandara Thai Spa at the JW Marriott Hotel Cairo is now open after undergoing massive reconstruction.

Adding a new dimension of luxury to the hotel, the spa offers 30 treatments and boasts spacious private single rooms and couple’s rooms inclusive of baths and Jacuzzis. There are also luxurious suites which include private steam baths.

The spa focuses on privacy to enhance the feeling of being pampered and the sense of well being that follows, and emphasise all treatments having an exotic east-west flavour.

One of the treatments the Mandara Spa offers guests to try is the Luk Prakob hot compress therapy, which has been used for many centuries in Thailand for the relief of pain and inflammation. A professional Thai masseuse carries out this traditional, hot Thai massage.

The spa offers 300 treatments and boasts a stunning reception area located on the second level, with stairs descending to a magnificent new heated indoor swimming pool. All this at the heart of a huge new fitness complex, complete with state-of-the-art equipment and a 10 m high climbing wall.
