Tradition and technology blending at Kadri
Grand Hotel Kadri, is a 100 year old five star property located in Zahle, situated on the Berdawni River 54 kilometres from Beirut. A 40 minute drive from the ancient Roman ruins of Baalbeck, Anjar and other sites, the hotel is near Bardouni restaurants, a name synonymous with Lebanon’s famous mezze and outdoor dining.
The Bardouni restaurant tradition began over 100 years ago with a few simple riverside cafes. Today it is a virtual bazaar of tree shaded eating places known as “casinos”. Here guests can enjoy mezze, mountain bread baked in front of guests, plus Lebanese coffee and shisha.
The hotel offers also a range of recreational facilities including a tennis court, a health club, sauna, an outdoor swimming pool and a children playground.
Also available are wine tasting tours, and for adventure seekers ATV rides, paintballing and horseback riding. For honeymooners the hotel offers dedicated suites with special linen, rose petals, a heart shape cake with sparkling wine and breakfast in bed.
A full weekend package includes a welcome drink, accommodation in a double occupancy room, special amenities in the room, a breakfast buffet, Sunday lunch buffet or a special dinner and free entrance to Kidzy, the kids’ playroom.
