Gulf Hotel appoints deputy GM

Abdulnabi Amini has been promoted as the new deputy general manager of the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain.

Amini joined the Gulf Hotel in 1974 and has been the senior assistant manager - assistant to the general manager since 1993.

Upon joining Gulf Hotel, Amini was sent to the UK where he obtained his diploma in hotel and catering management from Brighton Technical College.

He was also awarded several certificates in general catering and completed practical training in hotels throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Since 1977, he has held different positions and responsibilities in Gulf Hotel. Recently, Amini attended two months cross exposure with prestige hotels in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

He took over as the deputy general manager from November 1.

The Gulf Hotel is one of the most prestigious hotels in the Gulf area, with a total of 370 luxury rooms and suites, six restaurants, and one of the largest conference and banqueting facilities in the Middle East.
