ITTFA, the International Tourism Trade Fairs Association, welcomes its newest media partner, Travel & Tourism News Middle East (TTN), the leading trade publication covering the tourism industry in the Middle East.
It is published monthly by Al Hilal Publishing and Marketing Group and is aimed at all professionals in the travel and tourism industry, from travel agents to airline and hotel personnel.
“Emerging markets are becoming increasingly important in the tourism industry in general and none more so than the Middle East region.  This new partnership with TTN will provide the ideal opportunity for ITTFA to support these developing markets and its tourism trade shows,” said ITTFA chairman, Tom Nutley.
“TTN is an established and well known publication and we hope that this new partnership will provide an opportunity to increase communication with travel professionals in the region.”
The publication provides in depth, extensive coverage of relevant issues both in the Middle East and internationally. Each issue also contains a range of international and regional news with topical features of interest to all readers.  TTN publishes both printed and online editions providing significant increased readership profile.
“We are delighted to join ITTFA as a media partner,” said Kim Thomson, publishing director.  “This new partnership will provide us with an opportunity to reach a wider audience and to promote the Middle Eastern markets at ITTFA member shows around the world.  We look forward to working with ITTFA and its members, whose input will enhance our contribution towards keeping the region’s travel professionals up to date on regional and global travel news.”
ITTFA is dedicated to underlining the continued development of the travel trade show industry, initially across Europe and now worldwide.  Members include some of the key travel trade shows around the world, whose aim is to work together to increase participation in travel shows, whilst setting and maintaining high standards so as to maximise benefits for both visitors and exhibitors alike.
Membership of ITTFA is strictly controlled so only the best and most productive fairs that adhere to a rigorous set of professional standards can join. This means each and every ITTFA tourism exhibition guarantees participants a business environment that is dedicated to negotiating deals at critical periods in the travel industry calendar.
The association’s members meet every three months to discuss how Europe's premier tourism fairs can be made even more productive for the exhibitors and trade visitors.
