Bahrain Executive Air Services (Bexair), the newly-launched Bahrain-based charter service company, won its maiden business deal at the Dubai 2001 air show.
The deal involves the sale of 200 hours of charter service by Bexair using a Citation Excel aircraft to a financial company.
John Donald M Davie of Bexair said the maiden order for the charter service company, the second such enterprise in the Middle East, had come as a big surprise.
Started with an investment of $85 million, Bexair is the only executive charter service provider in the region with its own terminal at the Bahrain International Airport. It has two aircraft.
