UNDER the management of Golden Tulip Middle East & North Africa, Golden Tulip Al Jazira Hotel and Resort is a four star deluxe resort located at Ghantout. The resort has the advantage of being accessible to both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The hotel is situated 25 minutes from Abu Dhabi Airport and 40 minutes from the city centre, and lies next to Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club on the main Abu Dhabi-Dubai Highway. Guests can choose from luxurious rooms and suites with a sea view or a pool view rooms, plus balconies or terraces. Modern amenity include satellite TV and direct telephone access.
The restaurant Brassiere on Zero offers breakfast, lunch or dinner in light open surroundings, with either an international buffet or a la carte option.
Afandem is their traditional Turkish restaurant, where chef Adem prepares traditional Turkish cuisine. There is a terrace for drinks which overlooks the channel, and from here the traditional UAE past time of shisha can be enjoyed from 3pm till 12 midnight. The restaurant is open six days a week (closed Sunday).
In Café De Baileys guests can get away from the summer heat, and enjoy cappuccino and freshly made cake. Three internet stations are also available. The Bounty Bar serves various beverages, and there is a pool table and a wide screen TV showing all the latest sporting action. Two terraces over look the poolside.
A pool bar within the pool is open daily from 9am, and snacks are served from 12 noon until 6pm. An in room dining option with 24 hour room service is available.
The lobby offers enough seating and waiting facilities for up to 60 people.
