Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline, exhibited its latest destinations and services at last month’s Oman Travel Market (OTM) in Muscat’s Oman International Exhibition Centre.

The Abu Dhabi based airline, a diamond sponsor of the OTM, promoted its new flights to Beijing as well as the four new Indian cities of Chennai, Jaipur, Kolkata and Kozhikode which were announced in February.
Etihad, one of the largest exhibitors at the OTM, recently celebrated  the second anniversary of its flights from Muscat to Abu Dhabi which have increased from an initial daily service to three flights a day.
Jaffar Juma Abdullah Al Lawati, Etihad Airways’ Oman country manager, said, “Etihad continues to expand a global network of destinations which are all easily accessible and very popular with our customers travelling from Oman. In order to build the Etihad brand further it is vital that we exhibit at the Oman Travel Market because it is so well respected across the region and throughout the travel industry.”
Etihad Airways exhibited elements of its in flight product such as its award winning fully flat first and business class beds.
The airline will also display information on the many rewards and benefits of its Etihad Guest frequent flyer loyalty programme which was launched in August 2006 and has gained more than 320,000 members worldwide.
Mr Jaffar added, “Oman is one of Etihad’s fastest growing markets in the region for business and leisure travellers. The Oman Travel Market is a key platform therefore for us to communicate with new and established customers in the Sultanate.”
Currently Etihad offers flights to 45 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
