EMERALD Vacation Group, a UAE vacation ownership specialist, recently launched the only vacation ownership property in the Maldives.

Turtle Cove Resort and Spa located on a private island will be the first of its kind, with UAE investors given an opportunity to own a vacation property in one of the world’s most sought after holiday destinations.
Located on the Mahadhdhoo Island on the northern Huvadhu Atoll, Turtle Cove Resort and Spa features 77 one bedroom villas, 30 of which are located on the water in the lagoon with a further 10 two bedroom villas. Each villa is of five star quality and includes individual private pool, views of the island and personal concierge service. Turtle Cove also features a luxury spa, fine dining restaurants, boutique shopping promenade and water sports centre.
“The launch of Turtle Cove Resort and Spa marks Emerald Vacation Group’s first foray into the international property arena. We have therefore chosen a unique and exclusive island in a highly sought after part of the world as our entry into an industry that looks set to soar in the coming years,” said Chris Jackson, general manager, Emerald Vacation Group.
Due for completion in 2009, the island has been named after its most famous marine residents, the turtles which can be found in abundance around the coast line of the Maldives. Turtle Cove Resort and Spa is approximately one kilometre long with white sandy shores and large reef, ideal for dive enthusiasts.
The resort is the second property in Emerald Vacation Group’s portfolio and follows Emerald Court, a five star urban development, located near Dubai’s many tourist attractions namely, the Souq Madinat, Burj Al Arab and Atalantis on the Palm Jumeirah. The 48 unit property offers a combination of both one and two bedroom apartments and will be among the fist vacation ownership properties in Dubai to cater to a variety of markets including both GCC and international visitors.
