DIPLOMAT Radisson SAS Hotel, Residence & Spa director sales and marketing Michael Barnes, has found ATM to be primarily a leisure expo, whereas their markets in Bahrain are mainly corporate.
“However, at ATM we have an opportunity to showcase our property to travel agents that have both corporate and leisure business. It also gives us an opportunity to meet travel agents from around the GCC,” he said.
“We are very excited to showcase Bahrain’s premier hotel at ATM. Our property now has hotel facilities, a residence property with 121 suites, a state-of-the-art fitness gym and the largest Thai Spa in Bahrain. We hope to be able to attract leisure guests from around the GCC and Europe to experience our “corporate” resort.”
At the show the hotel was primarily targeting leisure guests and travel agents from around the GCC, and believed that among the major industry issues ATM should focus on were attracting more corporate or incentive travel companies and destination marketing..
