How successful has ATM been for the hotel over the years?
ATM is considered to be the ideal venue for the inbound and outbound travel and tourism industry to come together, in order to develop the promising potential of this fast growing market. It unites Pan Arab and world travel tourism markets.
What are your plans at ATM 2008?
We will be promoting Lebanon, in general, as a tourist destination, and promoting specifically the Safir Heliopolitan Hotel, Beirut’s facilities and services.
Also, we will be introducing the Summer Promotion in the market, including many services such as free airport pick up or drop off, welcoming Arabic coffee upon arrival, complimentary exotic fruit basket and coffee/tea tray in the room, free one hour Internet access, free access to the outdoor swimming pool and health club, in addition to a free half day city tour.
Moreover, we will be announcing the appointment of the new general manager, Tarek Ammache. We have also introduced new direct reservations line and fax, for fast booking and to avoid line traffic jam.
Who are you targeting at the show?
Tour operators, travel agents, in addition to the meeting and incentives companies.
What is your main objective at ATM 2008, and how will you achieve this?
Through our presence there, ATM is an opportunity to increase the awareness and exposure of our hotel, interacting with many different types of businesses.
What are the major industry issues that events like ATM must focus on?
All challenges related to the daily problems the tourism and hospitality industry face.
