Mِvenpick Resort & Spa Mauritius

The Movenpick Resort & Spa Mauritius located in the south west of the island, which offers good family holidays, recently received the World Travel Award as the Indian Ocean’s leading family resort.

“The presentation of the World Travel Award was a great honour for us, and underlines our commitment to also position our hotel as a tailor made family resort,” said John Wood, general manager Movenpick Resort & Spa Mauritius. “The destination of Mauritius offers an endless variety of leisure activities and sightseeing within unique natural surroundings.”
The greatest plus factors of the Movenpick Resort & Spa Mauritius are, he believes, the generously laid out family rooms for two adults and up to three children offering unrestricted ocean views: the parent’s room is 55 sq m in size, while the separate children’s bedroom, equipped with all amenities even including a play station, is 11 sq m. The resort has 181 rooms and suites in total.
A mini club for children from three years old and a special programme for other youngsters provide a wide range of supervised activities throughout the day. There are four swimming pools and a children’s pool with a slide. The in house pottery, where guests can create their own souvenirs, is particularly popular. A games room with a pool table and electronic games, a natural grass mini-golf course, table tennis, a 1,800 sq m spa and various sport activities including mountain bikes and golf, are among the resort facilities.
Family rooms for two adults and two children on a half board basis are available from $650 per night, including VAT and all taxes.
