Night fliers get luxury branded amenity kits

BVLGARI amenity kits are now offered to passengers in the first and business class cabins on Emirates’ Airline long haul flights.

In developing the new kits, the airline sought to link with a popular major brand. As part of its arrangement with Bvlgari, Emirates has exclusive use of some special products such as after shave emulsions for men and body lotions for ladies.
The men’s first class amenity bag is made of Italian leather, while the business class bag is made of canvas with leather look trim. Ladies in first class have brown suede bag and in business class a light beige fabric bag.
Terry Daly, divisional senior vice president service delivery at Emirates, commented, “We wanted to offer amenity kits that look and feel special and I am confident that we have achieved this.”
He added, “All items are well known brands, which demonstrates Emirates’ commitment to quality as well as providing reassurance to our customers. For instance, toothbrushes are Oral B, toothpaste is Colgate, tissues are Kleenex. In the men’s amenity kits, the razor is from Taylor’s of Old Bond Street featuring a Schick replaceable three-blade razor”.
The new amenity kits are offered to passengers on night flights of seven hours and more. They contain products sourced in the USA, Europe and the Far East. Emirates has recently introduced a number of inflight products into first class cabins including new sleep suits, slipperettes, eyeshades, white duvets and blankets.
