The main hotel is regal, styled like a Sheikh’s Palace (with a blown glass chandelier in the main majlis), it features two ballrooms, a board room and an grand foyer. While the architecture and design may be traditional, the technology is not for the latest in sophisticated conference and business IT equipment is provided.
Also to be found in the main hotel complex is Sharq Village & Spa’s traditional souq. Qatar’s only indoor souq, it offers everything from precious metals and fine jewellery to Arabian trinkets, superb cigars, designer fashion and glamorous furnishings.
