Kuwait-based hotel group, Safir International, will open its first property in Dubai in December in time for the Eid Al Fitr celebrations.
The opening of the new, four-star, Safir Deira Hotel is part of the hotel chain's major development programme in the Middle East and North Africa, said Safir International corporate sales manager, Dr Jamal Iskandarani.
Safir International Hotel Management chairman Nasser Al Marri signed the management deal with Saeed Al Thani, the owner of the Safir Deira Hotel in Dubai recently.
Located in the heart of Deira, the new hotel will feature 147 well-designed rooms and suites offering two telephones, Internet connection, satellite TV with 65 channels, mini-bar and adjustable air-conditioning.
The hotel also features a roof top swimming pool, children's pool and a fitness centre with Jaccuzi and sauna for both men and women.
Other facilities include two multi-purpose function halls, a fully equipped business centre, an in-house laundry and dry cleaning service and an underground car park.
The hotel will also offer a range of dining and entertainment options.
