Ezdan Hotel, Doha

WITH Qatar’s Ezdan Hotel and Suites undergoing final touches to be ready for its launch in 2008, the hotel industry in Doha is anxiously waiting to see the impact of its entry into the market.

The hotel, set to be the biggest lodging complex in Doha with more than 2200 units, has unveiled plans for three F&B outlets.
Joseph Karam, who is heading this enormous enterprise admits that years down the line, the challenges keep taking a different shape every day and they are half-way in their pre-opening phase. Unlike most of the regular properties, Ezdan has forecasted the first two years as its pre-opening phase in order to ensure a proper launch of all its four massive towers.
With its fantastic views and strategic location combined with competitive pricing and revenue maximization strategies, the initially launched Tower one is at present running at an impressive 100 per cent occupancy and the recently launched Tower two is picking up a lot of interest and reservations with more than four per cent of the units already sold or reserved and lots more reservations and queries coming in.
To add flavour and spice to a typical stay, Ezdan Hotel & Suites will launch three new F&B outlets mid-2008. The corporate F&B team is currently finalising more concepts to be launched towards the end of 2008.
The three concepts set to be launched as of now are the Graffeo Café, a new concept and a total different coffee taste, as yet non-existent in the Middle East; La Terrasse, a staggering 800-cover restaurant set to be the biggest terrace restaurant of its kind; and the Pool Snack Bar located steps away from the swimming pool on the fourth floor.
