• During 2006, visitors from the Gulf stayed a total of 1.3 million nights with an average stay of 36 nights in Australia, higher than the 27 nights average.
• During 2006, visitors from the Gulf region visiting Australia for leisure purposes stayed an average stay of 19 nights in Australia.
