BAHRAIN’S Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel and Residence has opened a new luxury ladies spa, according to a hotel statement quoting Lotfi Hamrouni, the hotel’s director of Spa & Recreation.
The Diplomat Spa will offer guests and residents fantastic opportunities to escape from the rigours of everyday life and rejuvenate their lifestyle.
Located at the base of The Diplomat RadissonSAS Residence, the 2,850 sqm spa includes two health clubs – one mixed and the other ladies-only, a 280 sqm lagoon pool, exclusive ladies’ spa comprising 11 treatment rooms, relaxation areas, two state-of-the-art gymnasiums, steam and sauna facilities, three outdoor and one indoor pool for ladies only, a hair saloon, and a large fitness studio with internally popular workouts such as Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Balance, Spinning and much more.
The men’s spa, scheduled to open end of November, is to have six large treatment rooms equipped with massage beds, hydrobaths, steam and Swiss showers in addition to tennis and squash courts.
“The Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel Residence & Spa looks forward to promoting health and fitness in the region to position Bahrain as an ideal venue for health and wellness. The spa concept is growing considerably in the Gulf region and I am sure introducing The Diplomat Spa in Bahrain will offer expatriates and Bahrainis a better lifestyle,“ said Hamrouni.
According to the statement, the spa is the largest spa on the island with 17 treatment rooms and it is the only one with six treatment rooms especially for men.
It has been created with a Thai ambiance, with a team of 20 therapists being trained at the Thailand premises of the Sivalai Spa, which is operating the Diplomat Spa.
The Sivalai Spa was chosen as they have demonstrated an approach that would help the Diplomat in creating a unique signature spa product, according to the statement.
The Diplomat Spa will provide yearly, half-yearly and quarterly memberships for the spa and health club. Hotel and Residence guests will be offered complimentary memberships.
