FOLLOWING requests from its guests, the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea has further expanded its range of products and services, and has recently completed its beachside development project.
Guests can now enjoy 24 new rooms and suites, an additional restaurant, a new swimming pool, as well as a Therapy Centre.
In the first phase, the entire beachside area was remodelled, making access easier to the Dead Sea. An open elevator now transports guests from the center of the hotel down to the beach. The 24 modern and spacious new rooms and suites are also located right on the beachfront. All of the rooms boast extensive terraces (up to 170 sqm), offering breathtaking views of the unique scenery of the Dead Sea.
With the new Beach Lounge BBQ Restaurant, which seats more than 300 guests in an al fresco setting, the resort’s culinary services now include a total of six restaurants and three bars. In addition to the new sun terrace and sanitary facilities, the resort’s public areas now also encompass an additional swimming pool – taking the total number of guest pools to five.
The fully-equipped Therapy Centre, with seven treatment rooms and state-of-the-art technology, has created additional capacity for medical treatments incorporating the natural healing properties of the Dead Sea.
“With the new extension, we have moved one step closer to fulfilling our goal of exceeding guests’ expectations,” says Bruno Huber, general manager Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea and regional manager for Jordan. “The resort’s unique and tranquil chill-out atmosphere encourages our guests to feel relaxed and to totally indulge every aspect of their being.”
The Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea, which is modelled on the old city of Jerusalem, was opened in 1999 and is one of the stars in the crown of the international hotel group. With its new amenities, the 5-star hotel boasts a total of 358 rooms and suites, an extensive array of culinary services, a unique spa and wellness complex, as well as exceptional infrastructure for events of up to 1,500 guests.
