OMAN Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman has announced its plans to start non-stop services from London, providing its first direct link between London and Muscat. Oman Air will commence scheduled services from London Gatwick airport (North Terminal) to Seeb International Airport, Muscat beginning in November of this year.

The airline will operate daily service with Airbus A330-300 (6 days) and A310-300 (Sunday), between the two destinations. Two-class service with international standards of catering and entertainment will be available. A complimentary limousine service will also be offered to all business class and gold card Sindbad Frequent Flyers Program members when departing and arriving in London.
Ziad Karim Al Haremi, chief executive officer, Oman Air, said in a statement: "The introduction of the daily service from London to Muscat will provide travellers the flexibility not currently available through any other service provider in Oman. Oman Air's decision to start operations to London comes close on the heels of our recent announcement to expand services beyond our current 21 destinations and clearly signals our expansion-based strategy in the region. We are pleased that our enhanced presence will provide travellers, particularly those in the Middle East more convenient access to London.”
Al Haremi also indicated that new destinations that will connect with the London route will be announced in the very near future.
