Travel agencies across the region have rolled out a slew of Eid offers to destinations both within and outside the region.
Sharaf Travel has offered breaks for all budgets and tastes, including Mauritius at Dh4,020 per person, Bangkok at Dh1,897 per person, Cyprus at Dh2710 per head and Jordan at Dh2,869 each.
All include economy class airfare with different airlines, three nights’ accommodation in a four-star hotel, and other add-ons. The Jordan deal is only on two nights’ accommodation.

Emirates Holidays is offering three nights’ four-star accommodation and airfare from Dubai to Bangkok for Dh2,980 per head for October 10 to 21. A similar deal to Nairobi costs Dh3,655 per person, while such a deal to Mauritius costs Dh5,546, and one in Zurich adds up to Dh3,352 per person. Tempo Holidays has several fabulous offers from Dubai for short three-night breaks around the region. Most people in the region using Eid as a short getaway to explore more of the region around them and they do not want to waste time travelling to the destination. That's why Tempo's Egypt, Jordan, Oman and Turkey packages do so well, says a spokesperson.
The ‘Taste Of’ packages are available to Jordan, Muscat and other cities.
Etihad Holidays, meanwhile, has launched several packages over the Eid period. A typical deal is to New York, at Dh5065 per person for a four-star hotel, based on twin sharing, room only, inclusive of dreturn Coral Zone flights excluding taxes and fuel surcharges.
Other promotional fares include Singapore for Dh2110, Amman from Dh220, Bangkok from Dh1995, Geneva for Dh2445, Kuala Lumpur from Dh1925, London from Dh2550, Milan from Dh2440 and Paris from Dh2540.
All prices are per person, based on twin-sharing three-nights accommodation and include return economy class flights. Price does not include airline taxes and fuel surcharges. Terms and conditions may apply.
Packages are valid for sale until October 28 and valid for travel until October 31.
