The Hilton Bahrain hotel is setting up a special Ramadan tent offering guests a warm, friendly atmosphere to relax, play games and enjoy traditional Arabic food and music.
The Hilton Ramadan Tent, which will comfortably accommodate nearly 350 guests, will also offer guests the chance to win one of several prizes lined up for weekly raffle draws during the Holy Month. The hotel will also offer special tents for families and private parties with the facilities of smoking/non-smoking areas. A full, traditional Iftar buffet will be available at the hotel's Al Wasmeyyah Coffee Shop during the promotion which will start from about November 17 until December 16. The Hilton's Ramadan tent has been a popular feature in Bahrain during the Holy Month. "Last year, we had an average of 200 -250 covers on weekdays and 300 -350 on weekends," said the hotel's sales manager, Ali Farhan. Located in the heart of Manama's commercial and diplomatic area, the Hilton is within easy walking distance of the main shopping area and just 5km from the International Exhibition Centre and 8km from the international airport. With 250 guest rooms and suites and extensive conference facilities, Hilton Bahrain is an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers. "We can make special arrangements for our in-house guest with sporting/golf clubs in Bahrain to avail special discounts for use of their facilities," said Farhan. The hotel which recorded a good 2000 with 55 per cent occupancy, is anticipating a similar year in 2001.
