A landmark on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, the Sheraton Abu Dhabi has recently undergone major refurbishment to further boost its appeal to visitors to the UAE capital.
The hotel has spent Dh300,000 ($81,700) to completely upgrade its water sports equipment and a similar amount to give the resort and its restaurants a total new look.
The new-look resort overlooking the Arabian Gulf offers the full range of facilities to ensure a relaxing stay.
"The eloquently designed resort features 225 beautifully appointed rooms, commanding ocean views and a stunning new beach and leisure facility," said a spokesman.
The facilities at the resort include an inviting stretch of white sandy beach, a three-tiered swimming pool with a water slide, state of the art fitness centre with sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and a relaxation suite.
The centre also offers a range of massage services including traditional, Swedish and reflexology massage.
A variety of water sports facilities complemented by professionally qualified instructors ensure a great holiday for guests. Water sports options at the resort include sailing catamarans and laser dinghies, windsurfing, body boarding, water skiing, banana boat and tube rides, scuba diving, kayaking, deep sea fishing and pedal boats for a more relaxed alternative.
The hotel also offers easy access to golfers at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club by Sheraton which opened in February last year.
