Destination management company Alpha Tours and premium aviation service provider Falcon Aviation Services (FAS) have partnered to offer private luxury helicopter services catering to the corporate and tourism market in the Middle East.

As part of the deal, FAS will supply Alpha Tours with a co-branded fleet of luxury helicopters to cater to their high end clientele, both corporate and tourists.
With an initial investment of Dh75 million ($20.4 million), this service will be based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with the main helipads being Union Square in Dubai and the ADNEC exhibition centre in Abu Dhabi. Other helipad locations will be available soon,  including Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Hotel.
Speaking at the launch, Ghassan Aridi, CEO of Alpha Tours said, “The boom in the tourism and other business sectors in the UAE have created a niche market for private luxury services. This service will add value to the packages we provide. We have customised several solutions that cater to the needs of our clientele namely tourists, businessmen and families. This is to compliment the basic packages of 30, 45 & 60 minutes helicopter ride, as well as quick transfers within the emirates.”
According to Salem Al Kayoumi, chairman, Falcon Aviation Services, “Our fleet of high tech and superior quality helicopters position us ahead of similar service providers in the market, and we consider our partnership with Alpha Tours as an important impetus for us to grow our tourism market services”.
The fleet will consist of four helicopters, one Augusta A109 Grand and one Eurocopter EC130, in each city.
In conjunction with DSS, Alpha Tours have launched summer deals that are available until October 15. Daily city tours from Dubai or Abu Dhabi cost Dh3,999 for half an hour, while city shuttle services between the two hubs cost Dh9,995.
