TRAVELTEC International, a global executive itinerary management services company, has opened a new regional office in Dubai, Traveltec International Middle East.

Strengthening Traveltec International’s global network, the office in Dubai will be responsible for the Gulf region as well as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Traveltec International also has offices in London, New York, Istanbul, Cairo, Bahrain, Beijing and Singapore
The opening comes as Traveltec International’s business in the Gulf region continues to grow strongly; the number of itinerary management services bookings to the GCC has more than doubled in 2006 compared to 2005. Dubai is the focal point of Traveltec Middle East operations.
“The GCC and Dubai in particular has become more and more important to us,” said Ejaz Nowas, CEO of Traveltec International. “More and more clients take business trips to the GCC and have asked us to facilitate the complete management of their schedules. The region shows great potential for us and I’m delighted with the addition of Traveltec International Middle East to our global network.”
Next to coordinating and managing the incoming executive business itineraries, Traveltec International Middle East will tap into the growing need for its services in the Gulf region. In line with the services Traveltec offers globally, Traveltec International - Middle East offers four core services: itinerary management services, executive ground and air transportation, and personal security. The aim is to introduce the region to its tailor-made services for the executive business traveller.
Jagdeep Dang, who is heading Traveltec International Middle East, said, “We believe we are in a great position to capitalise on the growth in the GCC. The inbound business increases steadily, while we are generating significant interest from multi-nationals and local companies in the UAE. They realise we can help them in their business endeavours overseas by managing the schedules of the top level executives anywhere in the world in a professional and cost effective way.”
Traveltec International Middle East puts time and effort in educating the market about its services and benefits and welcomes enquiries. “Itinerary management services is a new concept in this part of the world,” Dang said. “We are convinced it is beneficial for any company that values safety, efficiency and a high level of quality when their executives travel abroad and we are happy to explain it to everyone interested. The high volume of repeat business we do proves it is the right formula.”
