Mina Al Fajer Real Estate has unveiled its master plan for a Dh600 million ($163.3 million) mountain-sea resort in Fujairah.
The property will include a 200-room five-star hotel managed by the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.
Work on the Mina Al Fajer Resort will commence in June 2007 and is expected to be completed before the end of 2009.
With Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan as chairman of the property dev-elopment firm, Mina Al Fajer Resort boasts a stunning concept in which the 777,025sqft project stands right where the Hajjar Mountains embrace the sea.
It is set to be a spectacular mountain resort with a superb sea-front that will include a marina, 48 mountain villas, 13 solarium villas, and 80 marina apart-ments, in addition to a five-star hotel to be managed by Fairmont, said Abdulrahman Al Awar, director of devel-opment and investment in the private office of Dr Sheikh Sultan.
