Thailand’s Dusit Hotels is expanding across the Middle East with several new hotels and hotel apartments.

Following the opening of the 48-room Pearl Coast Premier Hotel Apartments off Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road this January, the group is set to enter the serviced apartments segment as part of an expansion across the region. In the Middle East, several agreements are being finalised, including the 180-room Dusit Residence on The Palm and the 151-unit Dusit Residence at Dubai Marina. The Dusit Palm Island project also comprises two hotels, the luxurious six-star 114-unit Dusit Devarana and the 272-room Moroccan-inspired Dusit Thani.
In Abu Dhabi, plans are underway to launch the Dusit Thani Hotel with 593 rooms and suites, complemented by over 400 apartments by Dusit Residences, to offer a stunning complex of over 1000 accommodation options. This development is five kilometres away from the International Exhibition Centre.
Further afield in Asia, Dusit has entered into a joint venture agreement with Bird Hospitality Services (BHS), to manage six four- and BHS-owned five-star hotels and resorts in New Delhi, Goa, Rishikesh, Pune, Amritsar and Jaipur. Dusit’s mid scale brand, Royal Princess Hotels & Resorts, will manage its first resort property, Princess Resort, Koh Chang, opening in August this year.
