Air Arabia opens first sales shop in Jordan
June 2007 209

Air Arabia, the first low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has opened its first fully-dedicated sales shop in Jordan. Osama Dabbas, Jordan’s minister of tourism and antiquities, presided at the inauguration ceremony in Amman, which was also attended by Adel Ali, CEO of Air Arabia, and Mazen Tantash, chairman of Trust Aviation, the carrier’s GSA in Jordan.

Air Arabia’s new Amman sales shop, located in the central Shmeisani district, will offer enhanced customer service, including both ticket sales and visa services. As part of its summer promotions, flights from Amman start at Dh249 ($67.8), exclusive of taxes and surcharges. Air Arabia, which has been flying to the Jordanian capital since 2005, operates four direct flights a week between Amman and Sharjah, the carrier’s hub in the UAE.
