The Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea has unveilved an additional 201 new rooms and suites on the shores of the Dead Sea, to complete its impressive accommodation offering.

Furthermore Kempisnki Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea hosted the World Economic Forum representatives from the private and the public sectors from around the world to debate the global economic agenda. The second phase of the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea is like nothing Jordan has ever seen before, according to a spokesperson. It has succeeded in bringing sophisticated five-star luxuries to the Dead Sea. Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea lies in the Jordan Valley on the shores of the largest spa in the world – the Dead Sea. The new hotel accommodation boasts 201 rooms and suites (40sqm to 150sqm) all of which have been designed using tasteful contemporary décor and all will benefit from stunning views of the Dead Sea with a spacious patio or balcony – the perfect place to enjoy the Dead Sea’s dramatic sunsets. In addition to the new rooms and suites, the hotel also opens two new dining outlets including an Asian inspired restaurant ‘The Codes’ and ‘Kish Bar’ serving an exquisite selection of  international cuisines and refreshments.
The new rooms and suites will be housed in a stylish Arabesque monument building that works clean simple lines into an Arabian theme and will compliment the villa-style accommodation at Ishtar that opened in May 2006 – that offers 117 rooms and suites each with a balcony, spacious terrace or veranda facing the Dead Sea.
The Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea is set to become one of Jordan’s leading conference hotels. Opening mid 2007 is the Grand Ballroom, accommodating up to 800 guests and with the ceiling covered in gold leaf. The hotel will also be opening a further selection of services including extensive meeting facilities and an auditorium seating 228 people plus restaurants, bars and swimming pools. Further facilities include a bowling centre opening June 2007 and tennis courts opening late 2007. The hotel will also extend its current boutique Anantara Spa to be the largest spa in the Middle East by the end of 2007.
