The "round the world" fare allows 15 stops and is valid for one year from the date of departure, a Lufthansa statement said.

Flights can be booked with any of the 15 worldwide members of the Star Alliance, enabling globetrotters to choose from 800 destinations in 115 countries.

"Passengers can choose to fly to up to 15 destinations on one ticket while tailor-making their own dream holiday," said Wolfgang Klaws, Lufthansa general manager, passenger sales for UAE and director for Gulf, Iran and Pakistan.

"The round the world ticket is perfect for people wanting to explore and experience the different cultures around the world."
