JAL Fujairah set for May opening

Located on the scenic East Coast, just 90 minutes drive from Dubai, Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa is scheduled to open on May 15, offering impressive facilities designed with the comfort of both the leisure and business travellers in mind.

The resort has 257 well-appointed and cosy rooms and suites. In-room facilities include tea and coffee making facilities, a personal safe deposit box, minibar, satellite flat screen TV, high speed internet connection, two direct dial telephone lines, bathrobes and hairdryers.  All rooms have large balconies with breathtaking view onto the ocean, landscaped gardens and swimming pools.
“One unique feature of the resort is that we are close to the beach and ocean. Wherever you are, be it in one of the bedrooms, restaurants or in any of the guest areas, you will enjoy a stunning ocean view” said Frank Gueuning, general manager. 
The leisure facilities at Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa include a diving centre with an indoor diving pool, catering to both beginners and advanced levels.  Guests can also work out in the Gymnasium, outfitted with the latest equipment.  After all the sporting activities, or meetings in the multi-purpose conference hall, guests can relax and rejuvenate in the luxurious spa Zen, where the greatest care has been taken in ensuring un unforgettable and personalized spa experience for each individual.
For dining options, the hotel offers a diverse array of cuisines to satisfy the most discerning palate, including Japanese delicacies at the Icho Teppan Grill; Breeze, the resort’s all day dining restaurant; Asian fare from India and Thailand at Marco Polo; and Al Nokhada with Arabic hospitality and Lebanese cuisine.
JAL Hotels makes its debut in the Middle Eastern market with the opening of this hotel, and will be the first Japanese hotel operator joining the UAE’s five-star-hotel market.  “It is a new venture for JAL Hotels in the Middle East and they bring an element of Japanese culture to the region. In many ways, our services and facilities in the resort will have a genuine Japanese influence, which is very important and very popular,” said Gueuning.  “Fujairah has been attracting a lot of attention as a popular resort destination among international travel planners and MICE organizers.
