Thai offers China holiday packages

Thai Airways has launched a new Royal Orchid Holidays (ROH) package to Lijiang in China.

Lijiang in the Yunnan Province of the Republic of China has been called the Venice of the Orient due to the maze of ancient waterways and bridges running through the city’s cobbled streets, and is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in recognition of its remarkable architecture. With pleasant spring and summer temperatures, it is also the ancient home of the ‘Naxi’ people and a gateway to the Tibetan civilization.
Passengers on the ROH promotional package to Lijiang will stay at the Lijiang Banyan Tree, a luxurious new resort that opened last May. Consisting of 55 villas, each with its own private pool, living area, bedroom and spectacular views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the hotel reflects the rich heritage of its locale through design and furnishings.

The four-night, five-day package to Lijiang and Ringha includes *Air tickets for Bangkok/Chiang Mai-Kunming-Lijiang and Ringha-Kunming-Bangkok/Chiang Mai, land transportation for Lijiang-Ringha, daily breakfast for two, one afternoon tea per couple at Banyan Tree Lijiang, one set dinner for two per couple at Banyan Tree Ringha, one bottle of wine per stay and a complimentary head and shoulder massage for 30 minutes.
