Thai Airways has launched a new Royal Orchid Holidays (ROH) package to Lijiang in China.
Lijiang in the Yunnan Province of the Republic of China has been called the Venice of the Orient due to the maze of ancient waterways and bridges running through the city’s cobbled streets, and is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in recognition of its remarkable architecture. With pleasant spring and summer temperatures, it is also the ancient home of the ‘Naxi’ people and a gateway to the Tibetan civilization.
Passengers on the ROH promotional package to Lijiang will stay at the Lijiang Banyan Tree, a luxurious new resort that opened last May.
