A dedicated tourism television channel, majority owned by the Unitag Group, is set to start broadcasting out of Bahrain under a new international image.
The Arab Tourism Channel (ATC) will shortly be rebranded in line with Unitag chairman Jamil Wafa’s desire to go global.
“I’m trying to show our culture to the world and vice-versa,” he explains. “It won’t be about Bahrain or the Arab world only, but broadcast out of Bahrain for the world,” he says.
A rebranding blitz for the new ATC kicks off this month.
