THE Novotel Abu Dhabi is set to complete its renovations this year with the ballroom and the swimming pool being this year’s areas of focus.
Already, 70 per cent of the rooms have been revamped, says a spokesperson. The new rooms are designed for both business travellers and families alike, with specially chosen materials. New additions to the hotel’s facilities include in-room high-speed internet and WiFi in public areas.
The renovations are in line with a concerted effort to retain corporate loyalty. “If our guests keep coming back, this is not by chance. Our employees are dedicated to each guest’s needs and specially trained to exceed them. From the lobby to their rooms, going through the restaurants, business or leisure facilities, our guests find a unique visitor-friendly atmosphere and the sensation to feel at home” says general manager Adel Eid.
The hotel features 215 rooms, including seven suites and 86 rooms on non-smoking floors. For business needs, the hotel comprises a business centre and three meeting rooms catering for up to 250 persons. F&B outlets include the Le Jardin restaurant, with international food round-the-clock, French specialty Le Beaujolais, China restaurant with Far Eastern flavours, and the Le Privé dining room.
In keeping with its social and environmental responsibility objectives, the hotel sends Dh1 ($0.27) for each room bill issued to Médecins Sans Frontières.
