THE Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), venue for the Arabian Travel Market, has announced the signing of a partnership agreement with the Events Industry Alliance (EIA), a new and powerful voice for the global events and exhibition industry.
The decision to become an EIA partner underlines DWTC’s commitment to bringing world-class exhibitions and events to the UAE and supporting the wider development of the Middle East’s exhibition industry, said a spokesman.
The DWTC has also joined the Association of Event Venues (AEV), a specialist section of the EIA that promotes activities which actively improve the quality of visitor experience at leading events. Within the global exhibition industry, there is a growing demand that events become more interactive and provide better access to information, and the EIA is one of the bodies driving initiatives in this area.
