SOUTH African firm Charles Drewe and Associates will be among the international players at the inaugural GIBTM event in Abu Dhabi next month, in a bid to boost business between the region and Africa.
The business tourism and sales marketing company’s Charles Drewe says the company hopes to leverage the rapidly expanding Middle East market to source new business for South Africa and Africa as a whole.
“This is a new show in a region where the meetings industry is growing and it is the closest international trade show to the African continent apart from Meetings Africa in South Africa,” he told TTN by email. “This is a very exciting new market that can only grow as fast as their respective economies, so in terms of business, the sky is the limit!”
Drewe said he hopes to reach buyers from the Middle East as well as long haul buyers from the Asia Pacific Rim and Europe.
GIBTM, he added, will compliment the region’s banner Arabian Travel Market, by providing a show that is aimed at the Meetings Industry within the Gulf.
The mission of Charles Drewe & Associates is to be the leader within the hospitality and business tourism industry providing international, domestic sales, marketing and operational solutions. His goal is to develop a successful business that is a leader in providing innovative solutions through a loyal customer base.
