Package rates are A$850 ($671) per person per night, twin sharing for a minimum of two nights, including meals, beverages and most activities.
Alternatively, for the GCC tourist that’s been and done the obvious spots Down Under, North Queensland is a logical destination, with Tourism Australia’s Andrew Oldfield recommending Cairns and Port Douglas.
Quicksilver Cruises takes tourists to spots around the Great Barrier Reef, including Agincourt Reef, the outermost point on the reef, and the Low Isles, an unspoilt coral island that appeals to everyone, according to the company’s website. Cruises cost A$189, and additional snorkelling tours guided by marine biologists come at $58. Also available are helicopter flights, diving, deep sea fishing and more.
