Plans for 2007?
New openings are planned in Izmir and Bodrum in Turkey; five properties in Dubai; Bureidah, Al Khobar and Makkah in Saudi Arabia; Kuwait; Hamburg and Stuttgart in Germany; Rome; and Zanzibar. Major renovations will be completed at the Dead Sea in Jordan and in Aswan. Furthermore we have the intention to sign eight to ten management contracts for additional hotels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia also in 2007.

Strategy in the face of competition?
We continue to put a lot of emphasis on the high quality perception of the brand by our guests, as at the end of the day, this is one of the most important criteria of selection. As the preferred hotel operator with Swiss roots and a strong gastronomy expertise, we have set very high benchmarks for our hotels to achieve in the years to come.

Bullish about 2007?
Yes. At the moment all indications show that we can look forward to another successful year.

New markets?
We will move further into Eastern Europe, India and definitely Asia, where we see a high potential for our brand. We plan to sign 3 to 4 hotels in Asia in 2007.
