OPENING its doors in early 2007 is Rotana Hotels and Resorts’ first property in Kuwait, the Al Manshar Rotana Hotel.
Conveniently located in Fahaheel area, close to the state’s major oil and gas companies, the hotel is part of the Al Manshar shopping and entertainment complex in Fahaheel. It is situated 20 minutes away from Kuwait International Airport, 25 minutes from Kuwait City Centre and the major exhibition ground, and some 45 minutes away from Saudi border.
Two hundred luxurious rooms and suites are located in a 20-storey tower, all well-appointed and furnished to the highest specifications both for business and leisure. All offer stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and the city of Fahaheel, says a hotel spokesperson.
The hotel hosts a wide range of food and beverage outlets: from the all-day Failaka Restaurant with extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, and the round-the-clock lobby lounge City Café, which serves dishes to suit every palate in an informal yet stylish ambience, to the rooftop pool snack bar Bay View.
The hotel’s state-of-art meeting and banqueting facilities are designed to meet the most demanding conference, event and seminar requirements, says the spokesperson. The divisible Al Kout function room can accommodate up to 200 guests, meeting multi-purpose business needs, while an elegant board room meets the needs of corporate guests. All are well equipped with the latest modern technological aids and equipment including videoconference facilities.
The hotel features a Rotana-standard Bodylines Health Club with rooftop temperature-controlled swimming pool, indoor Jacuzzi, fitness centre, massage rooms, complete with trainers and physiotherapists.
The project is part of the Fahaheel City Development Project, owned and executed by Tamdeen Real Estate Company.
