RENOVATIONS to the new rooms at the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel & Towers are almost complete at the time of going to press, and the refurbished units being made available for the coming season.
“The Sheraton Bahrain now features newly renovated guest rooms, designed with guests’ comfort in mind and where they’ll find the celebrated ‘aaahhhh’ of Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds, warm, stylish décor; 32’ LCD screen TVs and thoughtful touches like tea and coffee making facilities in guest rooms and wireless internet connections in all rooms and public areas of the hotel,” says a hotel spokesperson.
Designed to meet and exceed business travellers’ expectations, each room features a fully equipped office desk area with tea/coffee making facilities and ironing board. All of the bathrooms boast high-pressure dual option showerheads. The hotel is located a short distance from the main city centre and offers 256 luxurious rooms and suites overlooking the Arabian Gulf.
A new, outdoor temperature controlled swimming pool and Jacuzzi promise to add an element of fun and rejuvenation to any guest stay, and a variety of dining options from popular international buffets, an all-day à la carte menu and authentic Chinese dining to a bar with a live, eight-piece band to tickle palates and entertain.
For guests with social or business events on their agenda, the hotel has the facilities to suit all occasion, says the spokesperson, for up to 800 participants, be it a meeting, special event, reception, seminar, or theme night. “The hotel also features a dedicated StarMeeting Concierge to ensure everything goes seamlessly during meetings and events.”
The Sheraton Bahrain also features a brand-new 200 car multi-storey car park, aimed at guests’ convenience with direct, secure access to the hotel.
The hotel has stayed open throughout the renovation.
