DURING the entire period of Ramadan, the Grand Continental Flamingo Hotel, Abu Dhabi, is offering a room rates at Dh249 ($68) plus 16 per cent service charges per night for single or double occupancy on a room-only basis.
The hotel also features a sumptuous Iftar buffet for Dh59 net, per adult. Children between the ages of six and 12 can enjoy the buffet for Dh29 net, while those below six years eat for free.
Apart from the regular price, the hotel runs two special offers: buy a booklet of six adult coupons and pay only for five, priced at Dh295 net, or buy a booklet of 11 adult coupons and pay only for nine at Dh531 net.
Sudhesh Kumar, director of sales, says every Iftar buffet coupon holder is entitled to enter a raffle draw; prizes include a chance to win a return air ticket to a Middle Eastern destination. The draw will be held on the last day of Ramadan.
For those planning private iftar parties, the hotel’s banquet team can make all the arrangements, says Ehab Ragab, food and beverage co-ordinator.
The hotel features 152 rooms, ranging from standard, junior suites and executive Suites. All rooms are equipped with IDD telephones, international satellite TV channels. Each executive suite is equipped with a small kitchenette.
