OMAN’S Golden Tulip Seeb is offering a special Ramadan deal for travellers seeking to get away during the traditionally quiet month.
Standard rooms are on offer at OR30 ($77.9) for a single occupant, or OR34 for double occupancy. Similarly, deluxe rooms are on offer at OR40 and OR45 respectively. Both rates are subject to 17 per cent tax and service charge and prior booking is required.
In addition, all guests can enjoy the best of traditional Ramadan iftar at the Le Jardin restaurant followed by shisha and live Arabic entertainment at the Layalina poolside tent, where playing cards and board games are also available.
The Golden Tulip Seeb is a 177-room hotel, with a choice of suites, and double and twin bedrooms. Facilities include WiFi, high-speed internet in the lobby and coffee shop area, a business centre, a private beach club, an outdoor pool and more. It is 1.5km from Seeb international airport.
Bahrain delights
THE Golden Tulip Bahrain has unveiled its 2006 Ramadan Package, with single-occupancy rooms available for BD40 ($106) and double occupancy rooms at BD48. The package is inclusive of an iftar buffet at the hotel’s restaurant and is valid throughout Ramadan. Rates are subject to 15 per cent service charge and five per cent government levy. The hotel offers 250 rooms over seven floors.
