DURING the holy month of Ramadan, the InterContinental Doha is offering special room rates, starting from QR740 ($203) per room per night including breakfast (based on single occupancy).
Taxes and service charges of 17 per cent are not included. The offer runs from September 24 to October 24 and is subject to availability.
The InterContinental Doha is located in the prestigious West Bay area, only five minutes drive to Doha Golf Club. During Ramadan, the hotel offers guests the opportunity to experience a typical Arabian Ramadan dining experience in its sumptuous tent, which this year has a spectacular new beach location. From the Fawaness Ramadan Tent guests can take in views of the sea as well as the glittering city skyline. An Arab speciality buffet featuring all the traditional hallmarks of the Ramadan season with live cooking stations will be on offer, while guests will be entertained by star singer Mounira Hamdi from Tunisia, a four piece band playing traditional music, and Daraweesh Tourneurs. Outside the tent, guests can browse the delights of the souk area with shops selling traditional Middle Eastern handicrafts.
