AFTER Seeb, Khasab, Nizwa and Mirbat, Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts has revealed the acquisition of another resort in Oman, at Dibba, the fifth in the Sultanate of Oman and second in Musandam.
The Golden Tulip Resort Dibba is expected to open on the 1st of August 2006 and will offer a variety of weekend and family packages.
Highlights of the new four-star resort include 54 rooms all facing the beach, three restaurants and a ballroom with capacity to accommodate 80 delegates as well as extensive recreation facilities such as two outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, Jacuzzi, dedicated children’s play area, diving centre, private sandy beach and more.
In addition, the hotel offers also a range of outdoor activities such as water sports, mountain safari trips and the most spectacular dolphin watching and dhow cruise.
The Golden Tulip Resort Dibba is located in the south east of Musandam, north east of the UAE, 90 minutes’ drive from Dubai and 20 minutes from Fujairah.
One of the great advantages is the absence of any border points between the UAE and Oman in that area allows easy access for UAE residents looking to spend a weekend on the marvellous virgin shores of Dibba, says a hotel spokesperson.
