THE Doha Asian Games Organising Committee (DAGOC) announced that sale of tickets for the 15th Asian Games were to be launched on May 28.
The Games begin on December 1, 2006. 1.4 million tickets will be available locally and abroad through select Qatar outlets, secure Doha 2006 website, National Olympic Committees, and appointed Official Ticket Agents.
The specially designed, forgery proof tickets are priced between QR5 and QR500. No free or discounted tickets will be available.
The 15-day extravaganza will see the conduct of 39 sports and 423 spectacular events participated by athletes from 45 countries and regions.
Ticket sales will be divided in two phases.
