This comprehensive solution will help travel agents enter the online market in an advantageous position at a minimum cost.
The new engine is fully integrated into the Amadeus System, and provides real-time air, hotel and car availability and fares.
This new offer adds to the portfolio of e-commerce solutions already available in the Middle East, including the Amadeus e-Retail Engine, a fully-flexible, hosted online booking engine for airlines. It is currently used by Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Middle East Airlines.
Amadeus has been extending its foothold in the Middle East since it started operations in 1997. Last year, bookings processed by Amadeus in the Middle East grew over 29 per cent, with impressive increases in Jordan, Syria, Oman, Kuwait, Afghanistan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran and Bahrain.
