THE super-luxury Maybourne Hotel Group, which owns and manages the Berkeley, Claridge’s and the Connaught, three of London’s best-known hotels, has officially marked its presence in the Middle-East market with the appointment of a dedicated GCC sales and marketing representative, Mohamed Al Geziry Consultancy, based out of Dubai.
The group has just travelled across the GCC to meet with key travel trade and luxury brand partners. “The Middle East is a very important market to the Group and we are very confident that our appointment of Mohamed Al Geziry Consultancy in the region will strengthen our relationships in this market,” says the company’s vice-president of sales and marketing, Paul Reynolds.
“We are able to accommodate the needs of all our discerning clients and we have unique facilities for our Arabian clients, with specially designed menus, Arabic-speaking staff, a dedicated team of butlers, female staff where required, Arabic newspapers and TV channels, many combinations of connecting rooms and suites, prayer mats and signs in the rooms and, with close proximity to the exclusive shops on Bond Street and Knightsbridge, the services of a personal shopper.”
Because the three properties are sister hotels and are so close to each other in location they can easily adapt to the needs and requests of any guests and are even known to redecorate their rooms to suit the clients needs, such as creating a gym from a bedroom.
