LONDON’S hotels have always boasted some of the finest suites in the world and this month a new suite at Langham Hotel, Portland Place, takes its place among them and guests in the region can avail a special launch Infinity Package.
“The Infinity Suite is the first completed phase of our incredibly exciting plans for the hotel over the next two years, and when we briefed our designers, there were no boundaries to our brief. We simply wanted to end up with one of the best suites in London,” said Duncan Palmer, managing director of the Langham Hotel.
Designed by Jan Wilson of RPW Design, the new Infinity Suite is among the largest in London at 236sqm, with a private entrance lobby, a vast drawing room, master bedroom and bathroom, a second guest bedroom and bathroom, and a pantry kitchen where the Langham butler will oversee all the guests’ entertainment and catering requirements.
It hosts an ultra-deep Kohler bath that constantly overflows to create the sound of cascading water. Designed around the concept of chromatherapy, at the touch of a button, the water moves through a spectrum of eight colours from relaxing to stimulating. In addition, the gentle massaging of champagne-like bubbles accentuates the therapeutic experience.
Chromatherapy, also known as light or phototherapy is a branch of Colour Therapy that projects coloured light onto specific areas of the body to stimulate the body’s own healing systems.
Package
For the ultimate luxury experience, the Infinity Package comes at £6,169 ($11,478) per night, inclusive of VAT and all the following: overnight accommodation and breakfast for up to four people in two double bedrooms, chauffeur-driven airport, rail or home transfers, a chauffeur-driven limousine for three hours a day, use of the Langham Spa, Health Club, Club Lounge and Boardroom, butler tray of drinks with personal choice of premium brands plus champagne, evening canapés and champagne, a stocked pantry, a personal butler for 12 hours a day and a team of maids as well as a personal choice of bathroom amenities.
